IE 7’s main focus is on User Interface improvements and security. Users and IT Staff will enjoy the updated functionality (provided no essential web apps break). While there are significant steps taking to improve the rendering engine, it is mainly Intranet developers who will benefit from this aspect – 6.0x won’t be going away anytime soon.
