To all,
All issues with connecting to the AIS system have resolved. AIS updated there authentication server over the weekend which caused this problem.
Please test your applications and let me know if you are still experiencing any issues

To all
Yesterday Harold Owens from the department of Surgery contacted me regarding problems connecting to the online financial system through AIS. As of today other departments are also experiencing problems with Bruin Buy, travel and other AIS application. This problem only seems to affect users that have public IP addresses assigned to their machines. All PC’s using private IP addressing ,are having no issues connecting to all AIS systems.
As we have a direct fiber connection to AIS we have isolated the problem to all MEDNET Public IP addresses going to AIS.
I’ve been working with AIS to get the issue resolved ASAP. If your users need to access the AIS system immediately your can do the following work around:
1) Move your user to private IP addressing.
2) Install the VPN client on the machine and download the BOL .pcf file. (You need BOL credentials)
Once I have more information from AIS I will update everyone.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at x74295 or pager ID 94301
