Hi all,
We have just received reports that ISIS is sending intermittent, incorrect 704002 Permission Denied errors. While the vasta majority of transactions are going through without incident, our record does indicate that there appears to be around 30 such incidents per day scattered among different applications.
This problem is rare, but it does not appear isolated to any particular application. If you are receiving this error now, please ask the user to restart her session as a temporary work around.
We are troubleshooting the problem right now. To do so, we need to temporarily suspend the data replication between the ISIS admin utility and our production database servers in order to rule out replication/record locking as the possible cause.
Until further notice, if you make changes to your production ISIS profile in the ISIS Admin Tool, please contact Xiaoling Zhang at xzhang@ais.ucla.edu so that we can manually push the changes for you.
We will update you on the status of this problem as we find out more. Thank you.
