On Sunday, June 11th from 1 am to 12 noon, AIS will be performing a series of important upgrades to its data center. Upgrades includes the installation of a motor generator to provide back up power as well as installation of seismic protection equipment to the mainframe and certain key distributed platform hardware. Most AIS systems will not be available during this time.

Impact to ISIS

To prepare for the installations, ISIS machines will be restarted on Saturday, June 10th, at 11 pm, causing a brief 5 minute interruption in ISIS services.

From Sunday 1 am to 12 noon, the production ISIS environment will remain available with certain restrictions:

• QDB and OASIS authentication will not be available (mainframe and QDB servers will be down).
• UID authentication will operate in cached mode.

In addition, the test ISIS environments will not be available during the 1 am to 12 noon window.
